YEAST DOUGHNUTS 
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. lukewarm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 c. scalded milk, cooled
7 c. flour
1/2 c. melted lard
1 tbsp. salt
3 eggs

Add sugar to 1 cup lukewarm water. Add yeast, let stand for 10 minutes. Add mixture to cooled milk and remaining water. Add 2 cups flour, beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Let rise in warm place. Work dough and let rise again. Roll out and cut. Let stand about 20 minutes. Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
