ORANGE GUMDROP CAKE 
1 lb. orange gumdrop candy (chopped)
8 oz. pkg. pitted dates
2 c. pecans (pieces)
1 c. angel flake Bakers coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour (plain)
1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk

Cut orange drop candy in smaller pieces, dates pieces, pecan pieces and coconut with 1/2 cup flour. Mix together. Sugar, butter, eggs, flour, vanilla stir together, add fruit mixture, stir together. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool 3 minutes and then turn cake out on plate and while still hot pour icing on top slowly.

ICING GLAZE:

2 c. sugar (powdered)
1/2 c. orange juice

Mix, pour over cake while hot.
