GUMDROP CAKE 
1 c. Crisco or butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. pineapple, crushed
1 c. pineapple, juice
1 lb. gumdrops (cut up & no black)
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
4 c. flour

Cream shortening and sugar; add the eggs and the almond extract and vanilla. Add the pineapple and pineapple juice and then the flour, salt and baking powder. Last add the coconut, gumdrops and nuts. Grease and flour 3 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
