MRS. DULL'S TEA CAKE | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 3 eggs, beaten Flour sufficient to make a soft dough 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, add sugar, then beaten eggs. Into 1 cup flour sift soda and baking powder. Add this to the sugar mixture. Add milk and vanilla and enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board, knead until smooth, roll out 1/4 inch thick, cut into any shape. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, about 10 minutes. |
