CARDAMON SWEET ROLLS 
2 cakes yeast
2 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
3 eggs, reserve some to brush rolls
Crushed cardamon seed
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
7 to 7 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in milk; add remaining ingredients. Let dough rest 15 minutes. Knead for 10 minutes. Let rise until double in size (about 2 hours). Shape as desired. Brush rolls with reserved egg and small amount of sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on size.
