MAKE AHEAD BREAKFAST | |
6 slices bread, lightly buttered 6 eggs 3 c. milk 1 lb. Polish ham, shaved 12 sliced American cheese 1 can mushrooms, sliced Onion flakes, optional Salt and pepper to taste 8-12 oz. Colby cheese, shredded for top Put bread in 10 x 15 pan (fit flat). Layer with ham, cheese, and mushrooms. Beat eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and onion flakes. Pour over bread. Put shredded Colby on top. Cover. PUT IN REFRIGERATOR OVERNIGHT TO SET. (VERY IMPORTANT) Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cover with foil for first 45 minutes, uncover last 15 minutes. Bake to somewhat of a souffle. Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting. |
