ZUCCHINI BEER CHIPS 
1 clove garlic
12 oz. beer
2 zucchini
Oil for deep frying
1 egg
1 c. flour
Salt and pepper
1 tsp. cayenne (opt.)

Mince garlic and add to the beer. Cut zucchini into 1/8 inch slices. Soak the zucchini slices in the beer mixture for about 15 minutes. Heat in about 2 inches of oil to 375 degrees in a deep frying pan. Drain the zucchini, reserving the beer mixture. Pat the zucchini dry.

Lightly whisk the egg and mix in flour and one cup of the beer mixture. Dip the zucchini into the batter and fry in batches for about 5 minutes until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt and pepper and/or cayenne.
