PORK ADOBO 
2-3 lbs. pork, cut into sm. chunks
10 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
2 tbsp. black pepper
4 tbsp. soy sauce or salt to taste
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Place all ingredients in a medium to large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer until meat is tender. Remove the meat and thicken sauce with cornstarch. Serve meat and sauce over hot rice. Yield 4 servings.
