CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
5 eggs
3 c. flour
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and add vanilla. Pour into tube pan (greased and floured). Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
