REFRIGERATOR OATMEAL CRISPIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add oatmeal and chopped nuts. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate overnight. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 10 minutes. Also great to freeze in used orange juice or Pringle chip cans. Cut up and cook frozen when needed.
