APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. apricot preserves
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 9x13x2 inch pan.

In large bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, and baking powder. Add butter and cut in until mixture is crumbly. Set 1 cup of mixture aside. Press remaining 3 cups of mixture in pan and spread with preserves. Cover with remaining 1 cup of crumbs. Bake 40-45 minutes until lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.
