PINEAPPLE SALAD 
Salad:

2 sm. pkgs. lemon jello (or 1 lg. package)
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 7-Up or Ginger Ale
3 bananas, sliced or diced
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained

Mix salad ingredients in a large bowl (because of 7-Up fizz). When jello starts to thicken, add pineapple, nuts, marshmallows and bananas.

Topping:

1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. whipped cream or 1 ptsp. Cool Whip

Cook pineapple juice, sugar, flour and egg in a small pan over low heat until thick. Add butter and cool. Add whipped cream or Cool Whip and spread over top of salad.
