NOT STICKY CARAMELS 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. light corn syrup
2 c. sugar
2 cans (15 oz. each) sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla

In heavy saucepan melt butter, add corn syrup and sugar. Boil for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add 1 1/2 cans sweetened condensed milk.

Mix flour with remaining 1/2 can milk and add. Boil until darkened and reaches 240 degrees F. (very important) medium hard boil. STIR CONSTANTLY! Add vanilla. Pour into 9x13 inch buttered pan. On cutting board cut in 1 inch squares. Wrap each square in waxed paper.
