OVEN FRIED CHICKEN | |
1 tbsp. butter 2/3 c. buttermilk baking mix 1 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 1/2 to 3 1/4 lbs. broiler/fryer chicken, cut up Heat oven to 425 degrees. Melt butter in rectangular baking dish or pan (13 x 9 x 2 inch) in oven. Mix baking mix, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in food storage bag. Shake pieces of chicken in bag. Place skin down (or remove skin if you want to) in pan. Bake 35 minutes. Turn; bake until done, about 15 minutes longer. 6 servings. |
