CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake bars for 25 minutes. Beat eggs, add remaining ingredients and beat well by hand. Spread batter in 10 x 15 cookie sheet that was sprayed with Pam or greased (batter will be very thick). Cool 10 minutes and then frost.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Optional: crushed walnuts to sprinkle on top of frosting

Combine milk, butter and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly for only 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips. Pour over warm bars and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
