CAFE TORTONI 
1 egg white
1 tsp. instant coffee
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds

Combine egg white, coffee and salt; beat until stiff. Gradually add 2 tablespoons sugar and beat until stiff and satiny. Beat cream, 1/4 cup sugar, vanilla and almond extract until stiff. Fold into egg white mixture; add almonds. Pour into serving dishes and freeze. Set out a few minutes before serving. Serve 4-6.
