CABBAGE SOUP 
1 head cabbage
5 or 6 carrots
3 or 4 potatoes
1 onion (optional)
2 c. chicken broth
Water
1 lb. sausage

Cut vegetables to bite size and put into a large kettle. Add chicken broth and cover over with water. Heat to boiling.

Brown sausage in skillet and add to vegetables. Cook on low for 1 hour or until vegetables are done. Add more water as needed.
