CHERRY COBBLER CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Stir in vanilla. Fold in flour and the baking powder. Mix well. (May need 1 tablespoon milk to be coherent.) Spread 1/2 batter in greased 11 x 9 x 2 inch dish. Spread cherry filling over batter. Cover top with remaining batter.

TOPPING:

2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
Dash of cinnamon, opt.)

Cream together. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
