RICE PILAF 
1 tbsp. butter
1 cube or 1 tsp. chicken bouillon
2 c. water
2/3 c. uncooked long grain rice
1/3 c. golden raisins
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 med. carrot, grated
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 tsp. minced parsley

In a saucepan, heat the first 3 ingredients to boiling. Stir in rice, raisins, onion, carrot and celery. Simmer covered for 25 minutes. Add almonds and parsley. Toss lightly. Serves 4.
