BEER ROAST 
3-4 lb. beef roast
1 sliced onion
1/2 c. catsup
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 clove garlic
2 (12 oz.) cans beer
4 tbsp. flour or cornstarch

Combine catsup, brown sugar, garlic and beer in a baking dish. Add the roast and onion slices. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Blend flour and 1 cup water to thicken gravy.
