NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 3/4 c. lard 1 egg 1/2 c. cold water 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. sugar Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Cut in the lard. Beat egg until fluffy. Mix the egg, water and vinegar together; add to the dry ingredients; gather dough together, press into a ball. Makes 6 single or 3 double pie crusts. |
