PIE CRUST
2 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk

In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients. Be sure they are well mixed. Then add shortening. Cut this in with a pastry knife until well blended. Add milk and mix well. roll out 1/2 of dough at a time on a well floured board. Do not add more liquid than called for. The measurements must be exact. You cannot hurt this dough by handling and re-rolling it. When making a 2 crust pie, be sure to lightly coat the top crust with milk. This will make the pie brown evenly. Always bake at 375 degrees unless it is a 1 crust and calls for more heat.
