SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 24 oz Jar Bertolli spaghetti sauce
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 lb hamburger meat
5+ large mushrooms
1 large onion
1 Large Bell Pepper
4+ tablespoons garlic powder
4+ tablespoons Italian seasoning
3+ tablespoons sugar
2+ tablespoons cayenne pepper

Slice up the mushrooms, cut the onion and Bell Pepper into very very small squares, sauté them in either butter or olive oil. As it's cooking, start adding at least 1 tablespoon of the garlic, and Italian seasoning.

Once cooked, push everything to the side in the skillet. Add the pound of hamburger, and when it's brown, combine the items you pushed aside, (don't drain the hamburger fat - it adds flavor).

Add another tablespoon of each of the garlic, and Italian. Add the jar of Bertolli sauce, and stir. Add the can of tomato sauce, and tablespoon of the garlic and Italian seasoning. Reduce the heat to a low simmer.

Add another tablespoon of the garlic and Italian seasoning, and then 3+ tablespoon of sugar (or to taste) and the 2+ tablespoons cayenne pepper. Keep stirring and do not let the sauce burn.

You can add about 3 oz of water to thin the sauce if need be. You can also add a 1/4 cup of red wine to add flavor or adjust other seasonings to your taste. Be creative! 1/4 lb sausage can be added with the hamburger to add more flavor.
