SHANNON'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground round beef 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. of crushed garlic 1 coarsely chopped green pepper 10 coarsely chopped mushrooms 3 (8 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (15 oz.) can petite diced tomatoes 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning 4 tbsp. sugar 1/4 cup ketchup (Hunts) Brown ground beef in olive oil with garlic until done. Drain. Add green pepper, mushrooms, tomato sauce, paste, diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer, then add the sugar and ketchup. Simmer for another 45 minutes and you have a great sauce for just about any pasta. Submitted by: Shannon Huff |
