2 sticks butter, softened
1/4 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour until the mixture is crumbly. Divide in half. Press into two eight inch square baking tins. Bake at 300 degrees, 45-60 minutes.
