1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. extra moist white cake mix
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1/4 c. granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine and blend thoroughly cake mix, butter, egg, milk and lemon extract. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet, two inches apart. Bake 12 minutes, or until golden. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
