BAKED OKRA 
1 lb. okra
1 lg. onion
1 green pepper
2 tbsp. bacon grease
4 strips bacon
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat bacon grease in skillet. Add sliced okra, chopped onion and green pepper. Stir constantly for 5 minutes. Season and put in pie-size Pyrex dish. Bake in moderate oven for 15 minutes. Place bacon slices on top of okra; bake another 15 minutes. Serves 5 or 6.
