PINEAPPLE SHERBET 
1 qt. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients and put in ice trays and freeze until slush. Remove and beat with mixer. Return to trays and freeze until solid. Serves 8 to 10.
