LUSCIOUS HAWAIIAN DESSERT 
32 soda crackers, crushed
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
6 egg whites, beaten stiff
2 c. chopped pecans
2 sm. or 1 lg. Cool Whip
1 lg. can crushed pineapple (with juice)
1 pkg. coconut

Mix crackers, sugar and pecans. Fold egg whites, beaten stiff with cream of tartar into cracker mixture. Place in buttered 15 by 9 pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Put Cool Whip over baked cracker mixture. Spread with pineapple and juice. Cover with coconut. Chill overnight.
