BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
2 tbsp. finely chopped onions
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheese
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 c. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli

In large pan cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Add milk and cook until thick stirring constantly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat.

In medium pan dissolve bouillon cubes in water and add bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Add broccoli and cook. Do not drain. Add broccoli and liquid to cheese mixture until well blended. Remove bay leaf.
