CHINESE NOODLE SALAD 
1 lg. (about 4 lb.) Napa cabbage, chopped fine, tops too
5 green onions, chopped, including tops
2 pkg. Ramen noodles (discard flavor packs)
1 1/2 pkg. slivered almonds
1/2 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Chop cabbage and onions; chill. Brown broken noodles and almonds in butter.

DRESSING: Blend with beater oil, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. This is more dressing than needed. Don't mix together until shortly before serving.
