SWEET SOUR SLAW 
1 large head cabbage
1 onion, sliced thin
1 green pepper, sliced thin
1 c. Crisco
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Boil Crisco, vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over the cabbage mixture. Let set until chilled. Keeps for days in refrigerator.
