1/2 c. orange juice
Pinch salt
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 c. salad oil
3 tsp. baking powder

Grease and flour 9 inch tube pan.

Mix and beat until smooth. Slice 4-5 apples (thin). Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon together. Spread thin layer of batter on bottom of pan. Cover with layer of apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mix. Repeat layering until all batter is gone (4-5 times ending with a little sugar). Dot 2 tbsp. butter on top of cake. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Cool 20 minutes in pan.
