CUBE PUNCH | |
This is one of the treasures from an old box of handwritten recipes passed down throughout the family that I wanted to share here. There's no need to wait for a special occasion to enjoy a glass of fruity punch that is oftentimes served from a giant punch bowl -- this refreshing drink can be made to satisfy just one, and tailored to individual tastes. Unfortunately, there are no exact measurements, so make as many fruit juice cubes as is suitable for yourself, your family, or guests. It's a wonderful treat in the summertime while relaxing in the yard or lingering over a delicious patio meal! Pure fruit juice (your favorite flavor, or a variety of flavors) Ginger ale (good-quality, such as Vernor's or Canada Dry) Pour fruit juice into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. Place 1-2 juice cubes in a glass and pour ginger ale over cubes. Sip and enjoy! NOTE: Mix and match fruit juice cubes if desired, such as adding 1 cranberry juice cube and 1 grape juice cube to your glass, or 1 orange and 1 pineapple, etc. Submitted by: Carol |
