APPLE-CRANBERRY HOT DISH 
2 lg. apples, cored and sliced but unpeeled
2 c. cranberries, whole and washed
3/4 c. sugar
Butter

Arrange in layers in a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish--apples, cranberries, sugar, and dots of butter. Repeat until dish is full. Cover and bake in moderate oven for 1 hour. Serve hot as a vegetable. Good with chicken or turkey.
