MEAL-IN-ONE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, uncooked
2 med. onions, diced
2 c. diced carrots
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 c. sliced raw potatoes
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Spread meat in bottom of 13"x9" baking dish. Sprinkle with seasonings. Layer vegetables over the top. Sprinkle with pastry mixture.

ONE CRUST PASTRY:

1 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
1 tbsp. cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter

Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender.
