PORK CHOPS, OLD HOME STYLE WITH
POTATOES, DRESSING
 
6 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp. butter
4 c. seasoned croutons
3/4 c. water, divided
3 med. potatoes, quartered
1 can mushroom soup

Brown pork chops in a Dutch oven in oil; add salt and pepper. Melt butter, then mix croutons with butter and add 1/4 cup water. Shape crouton mixture into small balls and place them on top of the pork chops. Place potato quarters around chops, pour soup on top of the entire dish, add 1/2 cup water and bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
