ONION SOUP GRATINEE | |
3 c. fresh onion rings 2 tbsp. butter 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth 2 1/2 c. cold water Dash of pepper 6 French bread slices, toasted 1 c. Swiss cheese, sliced Parmesan cheese Saute onion rings until tender. Add broth, water and pepper. Cover, simmer for 15 minutes. Pour in serving bowls. Top with bread slices. Cover with Swiss cheese. Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese. Bake or microwave until cheese melts. Makes 6 (1 cup) servings. |
