FRENCH ONION SOUP
2 med. onions, thinly sliced in rings
1 can Campbell's beef broth
Swiss cheese, to taste
Parmesan cheese, to taste
French bread

Saute onions until soft and brown 20 minutes. Add broth with 1/2 can water. Simmer for 15 minutes. Bring mixture to a boil with the added sauteed onions when ready to serve, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Heat 4 thick slices of French bread at 300 degree in oven to get hard.

When soup is boiled, divide and put in individual crocks. Then add bread and alternate layers of Parmesan and Swiss cheese, ending with Swiss. Place in hot oven (475 degrees) until cheese melts and gets golden brown on top. Serves 2.
