PASTEL PARTY CAKE 
1 pkg. fruit flavored gelatin
1 pkg. white cake mix
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. water

Add 3 tablespoons gelatin to cake mix, then follow directions on package for ingredients, mixing and baking. To make frosting, combine remaining gelatin, egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar and water. While beating constantly, cook over low heat until frosting holds stiff when beaten are listed. Remove from heat; beat 1 minute longer.
