DIABETIC SPICE COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. water
1/3 c. oil
2 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon

Boil all ingredients together for 3 minutes. Set aside to cool.

In another dish, beat 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 2 teaspoons hot water. Add 2 cups dark flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Stir all together. Can be used as a drop cookie and flattened out or put in cake pan and baked as a cake. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
