BROCCOLI-DATE SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli tops and stems, cut up
1 c. chopped celery
10 green onions, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled (add just before serving)
1 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans

DRESSING:

1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. lemon juice

Mix the above together and add bacon, dates and dressing at the end, just before serving.
