CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE 
1 baked pie crust
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 sqs. unsweetened chocolate, cut up
2 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped

Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and chocolate in saucepan. Stir in milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to boiling. Boil one minute. Blend 1/2 the mixture into egg yolks, stir into mixture in saucepan.

Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. Pour into baked pie shell. Cool. Chill thoroughly. Top with whipped cram.
