2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 lb. sausage
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
6 oz. thin slices ham

Mix together the ground beef, sausage, onion, eggs, bread crumbs, tomatoes, salt, garlic, oregano and 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese. Divide into 2 pieces. Place 1/2 into a large baking dish. Flatten the meat out until it is about 1/2 inch thick.

Top with sliced ham and Mozzarella cheese. Flatten the remaining half of the meat to the same size of the other half, place on top of ham and cheese.

Press on sides to seal. Shape into a loaf. Pour the tomato sauce on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Top with cheese and bake until cheese melts.
