GOOEY ALMOND BUTTER CAKE 
Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Base of cake:

1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 stick butter

Gooey Topping:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
1/4 lb. powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix cake mix, 2 eggs, almond extract and butter together. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Then mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Pour this mixture over the batter.

Bake 35 minutes at 350°F.

I was sceptical at first because the bottom cake batter was too thick to pour. It took some time to get it evenly distributed in the pan. I added 2 cups of chocolate chips to the cream cheese topping, as well at three tablespoons of sour cream and one teaspoon flour. Most of the chocolate chips sank to the bottom during the baking, giving the cake base a gooey, yummy chocolatey goodness. Thanks for the recipe!

It was very good but I think it needs 2 x the Gooey topping. Patted in the pan by putting a very light dusting of flour.
