BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
3 mashed bananas
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Combine butter and sugars. Blend well. Add eggs. Mix until creamy. Add slowly the dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. When blended, add flavorings. Next, add bananas and pecans. Blend well on medium speed of mixer. Pour into loaf pans and bake for about 40 minutes. Cool about 10 minutes and turn out on wire rack. Serve warm or cool.
