I would definitely make this again! I didn't have cranberry juice so I used apple juice. It was still delicious! The meat only took about 40 mins to cook. Also, I added mixed veggies in with the rice and topped it with the meat and gravy.

This was good comfort food...great for our rainy evening. Sauce had lots of flavor. You could add various veggies for variety. I would maybe Tri a better cut of meat next time to cube. The sirloin was pretty tender but I guess I am used to melt in your mouth steaks.

Recipe was easy to make. My family really loved it. The only thing I did differently than what the recipe said. I mix all of the ingredients including the water and cornstarch all together at the same time, and I poured on to the browned steak tips. I used an egg whisk to mix ingredients together.
