APPLE PIE BARS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk, beaten + enough milk to equal 2/3 c. liquid
1 c. corn flakes
1 c. sugar
8 apples, sliced thin
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix flour, butter and salt like pie crust. Add liquid. Divide dough in half and roll out in jelly roll pan. Sprinkle corn flakes on bottom crust, then add apples, sugar and cinnamon. Roll second half of dough for top. Cut slits in top to allow steam to escape. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost with 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons milk.
