MERINGUE KISSES 
6 egg whites
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
Food color, if desired

Beat egg whites until stiff enough to hold up in peaks. Beat in 2 tablespoons sugar at a time. Add vanilla, vinegar, and rest of sugar, beating all the time. Grease and flour cookie sheet. Pipe or drop kisses on sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes.
