OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN WITH HONEY
BUTTER SAUCE
 
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 fryer, cut up and skinned
1/2 c. melted butter
Honey Butter Sauce

Combine flour and spices, stirring well; dredge chicken in flour mixture. Set aside.

Pour batter in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Place chicken in pan, turning to coat with butter. Cover and bake, meaty side down, at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces and pour Honey Butter Sauce over. Bake uncovered an additional 25-30 minutes, basting occasionally with sauce.

HONEY BUTTER SAUCE:

1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. honey

Combine all ingredients; beat well.
